SUMMER EMPLOYMENT

TEND Private Chef

TEND is seeking an experienced Chef in the Muskoka area for the summer 2023 season. We are looking for eager and driven individuals with knowledge in the food and beverage industry.

SALARY

    • This is an independent contractor position. You will be paid by the job as each property is quoted differently. You will be responsible for preparing a quote for the client.

TRANSPORTATION 

    • Fully responsible for your own transportation 

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT

    • You will have access to the client information
    • You are responsible for all tools/equipment to execute the service

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Must have chef training
    • Ability to create, develop and suggest menus based on needs and wants of the clients
    • Prepare and cook complete meals
    • Prepare and cook on a regular basis as well as special functions
    • Comfortable with fast-paced environment, work under pressure and tight deadlines
    • Must have food and beverage knowledge
    • Present excellent leadership skills
    • Confident working in residents of high end clients
    • Knowledge and understanding of food quality and kitchen standards
    • Welcoming demeanor
