  • TEND Housekeeping Team Member

    SUMMER EMPLOYMENT

    TEND Housekeeping Team Member

    TEND housekeeping team members are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the properties managed by TEND as well as TEND private cleaning service clients. Working in the beautiful Muskokas!

    SALARY

      • This is an independent contractor position. You will be paid by the job as each property is quoted differently. Compensation is based on a revenue share. The cleaning team will make anywhere from 60-70% of the overall cleaning quote. Depending on the number of cleaners per job, this would equal to $25-$40/hr.
      • Retention bonus

    TRANSPORTATION

      • Fully responsible for your own transportation

    TOOLS/EQUIPMENT

      • All cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment will be supplied by TEND
      • You will have access to the property information provided by the Cleaning Supervisor

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Detailed full cleaning services for residential and vacation properties
      • Ensure cleaning services are complete in a timely manner
      • Responsible for all laundry; may include laundry being done off site
      • Manage trash and recycling
      • Communicate with Cleaning Supervisor when additional time/services are required to complete clean to TEND’s standards
      • Engage in ongoing training
      • Thoroughly document and provide reports for property partners and cleaning supervisor

  • TEND Property Maintenance Member

    TEND Property Maintenance Member

    TEND is seeking a driven, dedicated and hardworking individual to join our property maintenance and management team in the Muskoka area this summer.

    SALARY

      • $20.00 – $35.00/hr based on experience/qualifications, transportation, and availability.

    TRANSPORTATION 

      • Fully responsible for your own transportation 

    TOOLS/EQUIPMENT

      • All tools and equipment will be provided to you daily

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently
      • Must be able to use and operate general yard equipment
      • Must be able to lift heavy objects
      • Must have good problem-solving skills
      • Must have general landscaping knowledge
      • Must have general home maintenance knowledge
      • Must have good communication skills
      • Must have good time management skills

    TEND Private Chef

    TEND is seeking an experienced Chef in the Muskoka area for the summer 2023 season. We are looking for eager and driven individuals with knowledge in the food and beverage industry.

    SALARY

      • This is an independent contractor position. You will be paid by the job as each property is quoted differently. You will be responsible for preparing a quote for the client.

    TRANSPORTATION 

      • Fully responsible for your own transportation 

    TOOLS/EQUIPMENT

      • You will have access to the client information
      • You are responsible for all tools/equipment to execute the service

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Must have chef training
      • Ability to create, develop and suggest menus based on needs and wants of the clients
      • Prepare and cook complete meals
      • Prepare and cook on a regular basis as well as special functions
      • Comfortable with fast-paced environment, work under pressure and tight deadlines
      • Must have food and beverage knowledge
      • Present excellent leadership skills
      • Confident working in residents of high end clients
      • Knowledge and understanding of food quality and kitchen standards
      • Welcoming demeanor

    Team leads will be responsible for keeping up with employees equipment to make sure they are following the requirements of TEND.

    Responsible for ensuring the team is stocked and ready for each clean

    You will have access to the property information provided by the Cleaning Supervisor

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Detailed full cleaning services for residential and vacation properties

    Ensure cleaning services are complete in a timely manner

    Responsible for all laundry; may include laundry being done off site

    Manage trash and recycling

    Communicate with Cleaning Supervisor when additional time/services are required to complete clean to TEND’s standards

    Engage in ongoing training

    Thoroughly document and provide reports for property partners and cleaning supervisors. Team lead to collect team reports and send them to the Cleaning Coordinator.

    Responsible for leading a team of 3-4 employees to make sure cleans are being completed efficiently and to TEND’s standards. Report all questions and concerns from the team, directly to the Cleaning Coordinator.

  • TEND Event Server

    TEND Event Server

    TEND is seeking an experienced server in the Muskoka area for the summer 2023 season. We are looking for eager and driven individuals with knowledge in the food and beverage industry. This role has the option to be part time or full time.

    SALARY

      • $25-$30/hour plus tips

    TRANSPORTATION

      • Fully responsible for your own transportation

    ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES and EXPECTATIONS

      • Ability to work with high end clientele
      • A team player that can quickly adapt to any environment
      • Able to multitask
      • Have general knowledge of food and beverage menu
      • Great listening and communicating skills
      • Work Independently and comfortable taking decisions
      • Assist with preparation and cleaning after the event

      • Inspect the cleanliness of all glassware and china before use
